October 13 Morning Update

Hey All,

There is not much new news to report today, as of now. His nurse says he is much more agitated today, so we are basically just sitting here watching him and trying not to disturb him. We don't really want to be the "bad" guys and figure we can let the nurse's do that for us. He doesn't know we are in here yet. He's still restrained and I am sure this doesn't help the frustration. They will try the new feeding tube today. They looked at his liver and everything looked good. We haven't talked to the nurse or residents much today as we are just trying to be quiet. I will hopefully have more to report later when we talk to them.

Its sunny up here today which is nice. I think its Tuesday - so this would actually be day 5 in ICU, I think I said yesterday was, but I was wrong. We checked out the rehab facility upstairs for a possible placement after he is released from the hospital...it was nice & it had color! ICU looks very sterile (for good reason and we hope it is) and there isn't much color, so a place with color sounds nice:)
