October 9 Evening Update

Hello,

Sorry its been so long since the last update, mom and I came back to the hotel to catch up on some sleep. We both feel much better after having rested and we are getting ready to head back to the hospital. We've talked to the ICU nurse, Anna, and she said that the CT and the X-ray were normal. They aren't sure why he can't move his right arm, but it seems that there is nothing wrong with the bones or muscles, so hopefully he will be able to move it soon. The pain in his shoulder has gone down to what he rated as a 1, so that is good news. The morphine has worn off and he had been sleeping the last mom talked to Anna. He seems to be more alert since the pain medication has worn off some.

We are heading back to the hospital and I will try to update again before 9:00 p.m. As usual, we appreciate your prayers and support. We have great friends and family and a great network - and I ain't talking about Verizon:)
