Schedule

Hello there,

Dad is still pretty tired. He sounds really hoarse, probably from coughing so much. Dad has a schedule now. He has speech from 8:00 - 9:00, ADL from 11:00 - 12:00, and PT from 1:00 - 2:00. He is going to be worn out! I just hope that they can work their magic and that dad will be able to do some of the things that he hasn't been able to do in awhile.

I'm adding the words fester and mucus to the gross sounding word list.

We are all enjoying our very own seat in this massive room while we watch reruns of Grey's Anatomy. This room rocks our world!

Thanks for reading and for all of your support!

Love to all.

  1. I'm so glad to hear he has moved to a more comfortable spot. Staring at white, sterile walls is the pits. I'm also glad to hear you are still up there, Cejae. I'm sure that is a good thing for your mom as well as your dad.

Several people, including Jeanie and Elizabeth have had trouble geting into the blog to post comments. I've had trouble, too, so I hope this one comes through, What I mean to say here is please know that we are thinking of you even if we don't write very often! None of us are all that computer savvy...

  2. Sue, thank you for your comment. You are one of the finest people I know and we never questioned weather or not you were on this bandwagon! Maybe that sounds selfish but I just mean to say that I know how much you care about others (same goes for Elizabeth & Jeannie). The RLC crew is a great group of people and we are very blessed to be associated with and supported by such fine folks. Hope all is well at the Tomlin house!

  4. AWESOME news on the new room!!! Hopefully the first day of therapy today will go great! I'm still home with two sickies. (Day 3) So far Jayda is still holding out... I'm keeping my fingers crossed! (But she's still pretty unhappy about being the only one having to go to school!) Hope today is good day for everyone! Love you!

  5. Praying rehab goes well today! You can do it!
Today's devotion; Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ's sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. I Peter 4:12-13
Have a joyful 1st day of rehab!
