Video for Church
Here is a video message of dad. He wanted to shoot it for his church family. Here is a little script of what it says because his voice is so hoarse that it makes it difficult to understand.
Hello McLeansboro. I hear you are having church today. I just thought I would let you know, I'm alive and well and I wish I could be home with you. As you can see, I can only see out of one eye, but Dale deals with that every week so I don't feel too bad. Anyway, I've received over 100 get well cards and I just want to thank everybody for your prayers and for all your thoughtfulness. Thank you and may God bless you!

ReplyDeleteLord, show me what you want me to do today to be a blessing to others around me. Specifically, show me how I can serve my family, my friends, my church, and the people whom You put in my life. I don't want to get so wrapped up in my own life that I don't see the opportunity for ministering Your life to others.
From early church today Mark 5:19 ..."Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee."

ReplyDeleteHope all is well in chicago today and that therapy goes well. The sun is shining today-haven't seen that for awhile. Going outside and play in the yard after while.Today's devotion;
The greatest blessings will come to you when you ask God to use you to touch the lives of others. Proverbs 22;9 "He who has a generous eye will be blessed, for he gives of his bread to the poor." Keeping in touch with you all is such a blessing knowing you are gaining everyday. Only 9 more days til the 11th.
