We just got a call from OR again. The surgery part is over. They had to take more bone than they originally planned and they just used his old incision to go in. They have several layers to close up right now and are stitching him back up. This is the 7th hour. We are hoping that in the next hour we will get to talk to the neurosurgeon and eventually get to see dad! We are getting excited and anxious! Hope all of the rest of you are having a more normal Thursday (is that the right day?) and that you have a wonderful Friday!!! I'll email again once we talk to the doctor and get to see him.
