He has spiked a fever and the nurse was going to let the doctors know. He is still on the respirator. We aren't sure if he is aware of what is going on right now as he is sedated. He doesn't seem aware, but I think it might be due to the medicine. We aren't sure what a high fever means or what has caused it, but he doesn't seem to be doing so well. The nurse is going to do blood cultures. Jerry and Nancy Prather came to visit this evening before we left the hospital. The staff has been wonderful and we feel like they are doing everything they can for him, but it is very scary right now. We are discouraged and I know we shouldn't be and we should have faith, but it is very hard.
Thank you for your prayers. I knew many people would go to prayer for us and we appreciate it so much. We are very thankful for you and hope that we will have good news soon.
